CASEN Connect:

Building Social Confidence while Keeping the Kids Safe Online

CASEN Connect

CASEN Connect is a unique, facilitator-guided social media platform created especially for neurodivergent students. Think of it as a “training ground” for social media—a place where students can safely practice communication, self-expression, and online interaction without the fear of being bullied before transitioning to less monitored platforms.

With CASEN Connect, students gain the tools and confidence to make positive, age-appropriate, and respectful posts, while connecting with peers in a safe, supportive environment.

About Dr. Myava Clark

Dr. Myava Clark is a passionate advocate, educator, and best-selling author dedicated to empowering families of neurodivergent children. She co-founded CASEN LLC (Collaborative Advancement for Social-Emotional Needs) with her son, Chris Clark Jr., to create a groundbreaking child-focused social media platform. CASEN bridges the gap between social-emotional learning in schools and the realities children face in their communities, offering a safe, supportive space for neurodivergent youth ages 9–13.

Dr. Clark holds a Ph.D. in Professional Studies with specializations in Higher Education and Leadership & Administration. Her work is deeply informed by her dual perspective as an educator and a devoted mother of two adult children. Navigating the special education system with Chris and the 504 Plan with her daughter, Kyra, gave her firsthand insight into the challenges families encounter. These experiences inspired her mission to advocate for inclusion, safety, and the celebration—not just tolerance—of neurodivergent children.

Beyond CASEN, Dr. Clark serves as Program Director for a Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy Program and is a licensed respiratory therapist, clinical instructor, and seasoned healthcare professional. She is also the author of six books and a workbook, including the Amazon bestseller HELP! Support for Parents of Children with Learning and Thinking Differences, The Parent and Caregiver’s Guide, and Levels of Faith.

Through CASEN Parents, Dr. Clark founded the Mothers of Exceptional Kids (MOEK) Parent Support Group, a safe space where caregivers gain tools, community, and encouragement. When Dr. Clark isn’t working, she enjoys photography, physical fitness, and living a healthy lifestyle.

“Everyone needs a safe space to feel trusted, respected, and valued. CASEN is that safe space!”
